PRESS RELEASE: WINNER - FIREBIRD BOOK AWARDS

A few weeks ago, I received an email from Pat Rullo, author & national talk radio host behind the Firebird Book Awards and Speak Up Talk Radio, notifying me I’d won an award for “Recovering Out Loud”! Immediately, I dug through the lists of winners searching for my name, freezing as my book appeared on the screen… First Place in the Addiction and Recovery category!! Wow…. just WOW!

Although this was exactly what I was hoping to hear after submitting my book to the competition, I was still in shock when I read the news. Once the honor of it all finally settled in, I ordered up some fancy new holographic award stickers and patiently awaited their arrival.

This weekend, I had the pleasure of mailing off the first autographed copies with the Firebird Winner seal, sending books from California to Virginia.
